About TLPallet program...

The "TLPallet" program is an add-on to TLKarton program. Its task is to help in the optimal arrangement of boxes on the pallet and unit packages in a collective carton.

The basic parameters we provide are:

• - outer box dimensions LxWxH (the overall volume of the box),
• - palette dimensions LxW,
• - useful palette dimensions LxW (useful, when bigger boxes area than palette area is permissible),
• - height of stack of boxes on a pallet,

Additional options

• - arrange in 1 direction (if this button is enabled, program arranges boxes in 1 direction only - it doesn't attempt to fit boxes rotated 90°, even, if there is space for that),
• - enable separators – if this button is enabled, You can insert separator sheets between layers of cartons. You can select the separator material, frequency (after how many layers a separator should be inserted), and the number of separators,


• - completion in packages (if this button is enabled, "number of boxes in 1 package" field appears),
• The "Arrange boxes in package" button opens the "Arrange unit packages" window:






Meaning of individual parameters and options:
• - Type (FEFCO) and Material – the carton type and material determine the dependence between the internal and external dimensions / the overall volume of the carton,
• - package dimensions LxWxH (external / overall dimensions),
• - number of packages per layer (available when the “Enter number of the boxes” option is enabled) – specify the number of packages lengthwise and crosswise,
• - number of layers - the number of package layers in the collective carton,
• - arrange in 1 direction (when this option is enabled, the program arranges packages in 1 direction only – it doesn't attempt to fit packages rotated by 90°, even if there is space for that),
• - gap/clearance for dimensions LxWxH – packages will be arranged taking the specified allowance into account,
• - "Select size of the collective package" option – the collective carton will be adjusted to the specified number of packages (including clearance),
• - "Enter number of boxes" option – the program will optimally arrange the packages so that they fit into the selected collective carton (including clearance),
• - collective package (available when the "Select size of the collective package" option is enabled) – select a carton with the required external base dimensions from the list,
• - number of boxes in the package – the program indicates how many boxes fit into the collective carton,
• - number of boxes in the packages per 1 pallet layer – the program indicates how many boxes fit on 1 layer of collective cartons on a pallet.

Data to print on the summary card:

• - customer name,
• - project/job number/name,
• - project/job description,
• - user name,

We receive following data:

• - isometric projection of the pallet with arranged boxes,
• - number of boxes on the pallet,
• - height of stack on the pallet (without pallet),
• - number of stacks on the pallet,
• - number of layers on the pallet,
• Optional (if the "Arrange boxes in package" option is selected):
• - isometric projection of the collective carton with boxes arranged inside,
• - Number of boxes in the collective carton,
• - Number of collective cartons on the pallet,

"Save valuation" and "Open valuation" buttonsallow you to save the current calculation and open it later.

"Print summary" button allows to print the card containing:

• - drawing (isometric projection of a pallet with the cartons),
• - table containing all data,
• Optional (if boxes are arranged in the "Arrange unit packages" window):
• - drawing (isometric projection of boxes in collective carton),
• - table containing all data,
